The Taiwan AID NGO Fellowship 2024 is for NGO Professionals to gain experience and know about Taiwan NGO Activities. Fellows will get hands-on experience and learn how NGOs work in Taiwan. This is the second edition of the Taiwan AID NGO Fellowship. It is a one-month program covering participants’s Airfare Tickets, Meals, accommodation, and food, and Fellows will also get per diem during the three-week placement. If you have any experience in any NGO sector in your country then this opportunity is for you.
The respected fellows will be placed in Taiwan’s NGO according to their professional backgrounds. Fellows will engage in daily activities such as event preparation, project management, or fundraising activities. It is a program to learn more about Taiwanese NGOs and how work is done there. Fellows will also attend a 4-day workshop at the start of the program to learn more about NGOs. Fellows and Taiwanese NGO professionals will share ideas and experiences. More details are given below.

The outcome of the Program
The Taiwan AID NGO Fellowship aims to bring NGO professionals from diverse backgrounds so they can learn more about the Taiwan NGO system. Fellows will be placed in different NGOs according to their profession.
Fellows will be expected to propose a project draft at the end of the program for future cooperation in their home countries. This will be beneficial for both NGOs for future collaboration.
Eligibility Criteria
- NGO professionals from 25 to 40 years old.
- Fellow professional background in Community development, environment, education, gender, human rights, media and information technology, LGBTQ+, medical service, and social welfare. Outstanding applicants from other NGO fields will also be considered.
- Should have at least three years of work experience in the NGO sector.
- Should be from Southeast Asia: Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam, Bhutan, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan, Japan, South Korea, Mongolia.
