What is the RTP Scholarship at Deakin University

Research Training Program (RTP) scholarship for postgraduate research students. This scholarship is funded by the Australian Government.

Duration of the Scholarship

• For the Doctoral Degree Program: The stipend will be given for 3 years, and tuition fees off set for 4 years
• For the Master Degree Program: The stipend will be given for 2 years, and tuition fees off set for 2 years.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Deakin University RTP Scholarship:

• An applicant must be an international or domestic student.
• An applicant must have an offer or be enrolled in an HDR course of study at Deakin University.
• To be eligible for the scholarship an applicant must not receive income from another source to support if that income is greater than 75 percent of that student’s RTP.
• Students of the RTP scholarship will be enrolled as on-campus full-time students.
• Completed at least 4 years of undergraduate degree program.
