HAN University Scholarships in Netherlands 2024-25 (Apply)

Are you a student from a non-European country? Are you looking for bachelor’s and Master’s scholarships? Applications are open for the HAN University Scholarships in Netherlands 2024-25. HAN University also known as HAN University of Applied Sciences, is one of the biggest applied sciences universities in the Netherlands. You may qualify for one of the HAN scholarships. The Scholarship is offered in collaboration with the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science.

There are two types of scholarships for bachelor students and master students. One is HAN NL Scholarship and another is Honors Scholarship. Please note that it is not a fully funded scholarship. Types of Scholarships at HAN University for Bachelor, and Master Students

• For Bachelors Degree Program
  • HAN NL Scholarship (formerly HAN Holland Scholarship): You will receive a total of €12,500. In this first semester, you will get €2,500, and then again €2,500 in the second semester. After that, you can receive €2,500 per year for 3 years of study.
  • Honors Scholarship: You don’t need to apply separately for this scholarship. The academic board of your chosen program awards this scholarship based on your outstanding academic achievements in your first year. The payment starts at €2,500 in the 2nd year. After that, you can receive €2,500 each following year of study.
• For Master’s Degree Program
  • HAN NL Scholarship: You will receive €2,500 in the 1st semester and €2,500 in the 2nd semester.
  • Honors Scholarship: The Honors Scholarship is a once-only payment of €2,500 in the 2nd semester.

Requirements of the Scholarship

• You are NOT a citizen of the EU/EEA.
• You must have not a degree from an education institution in the Netherlands.
• You must have applied and been accepted into a full-time English-taught degree program at HAN.
• Proof of English Language Test: IELTS: 6.5, TOEFL iBT score of at least 90, or a Cambridge Certificate (CAE or CPE).

How to Apply for the HAN University Scholarship?

There are 5 steps:

1. Apply for the degree program at HAN University and be accepted.
2. Prepare your scholarship application.
   • A motivation letter.
   • A short video of yourself (Max. 3 minutes.)
   • Your Curriculum Vitae (CV)
3. Submit your application. For the February 2025 intake, the last date to apply for the scholarship is 19 October 2024.
4. Receive the scholarship result.
5. Accept the offer.
