CCTV Operator
Job description: –
- · Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the CCTV system. This may include installing and maintaining cameras, recording footage, and reviewing footage for potential violations.
- · Follow protocols for maintaining the security of the CCTV control room and its facilities
- · Monitoring multiple CCTV screens and alarm systems simultaneously
- · Identifying, investigating, and reporting security breaches or suspicious activities
- · Regularly inspecting and performing maintenance checks on the surveillance equipment
- · Recording and storing all the footage captured by the cameras
- · Communicating with law enforcement, security personnel, or building managers when needed
- · Complying with data protection laws regarding the use and storage of CCTV footage
- · Training other staff on the operation of the CCTV system if required
- · Writing daily logs and incident reports
Skills, Knowledges and Proficiencies
- · Proven work experience as a CCTV Operator or relevant role
- · Knowledge of CCTV systems and operations
- · High level of concentration and observation.
- · Good computer skills.
- · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- · Good organizational skills.
- · Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.
- · Ability to sit for long periods of time
- · Bachelors/High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
