Windows System Administrator
Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Windows server infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.
- Manage Active Directory domain, including user accounts, group policies, and security settings.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure system uptime and stability.
- Implement security measures to protect systems from threats and vulnerabilities.
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures.
- Provide technical support to end-users for Windows-related issues.
- Document system configurations and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Windows technologies and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Windows System Administrator.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows Server operating systems (Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022).
- Strong understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS.
- Experience with server virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, VBScript).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in Microsoft Windows Server administration.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
- Knowledge of ITIL framework.
