Financial Controller
Company Description
- Greenia Farms is the leader in hydroponic farming in Kuwait and the region, dedicated to delivering exceptional quality and uninterrupted supply to our clients. Since 2016, we have been serving major restaurant groups and businesses across Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
Role Description
- This is a full-time hybrid role for a Financial Controller at Greenia Farms. The Financial Controller will be responsible for managing the financial operations of Greenia Farms and its subsidiaries. Key responsibilities include preparing and managing financial statements, overseeing finance activities, conducting financial analysis, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This role requires a strategic thinker who can provide insights to support business growth and efficiency. Some remote work is allowed in this position.
- For the next 6 to 12 months, the Financial Controller will be the sole accountant for the organization and must be prepared to independently manage all accounting duties. The ideal candidate should be ready to perform the job themselves, demonstrating a high level of self-reliance and capability.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Financial Statements, Financial Reporting, and Accounting
- Strong Analytical Skills and a strategic mindset
- Background in Finance, with experience in multi-entity accounting
- Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis
- CPA or CMA certification is a plus
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and in a hybrid work environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Experience in the agriculture or specialty produce industry is a plus
