A seasonal work permit can be issued for six months per year. The long-stay national visa is also valid for six months. Non-European Nationals can apply for the Lithuania Seasonal Work Visa. People from the EU/EEA area do not need any work permit to work in Lithuania.

How to Obtain a Lithuania Work Permit?
This Part will be done by the Employer for whom you will work. Your future employer may apply for your seasonal work permit at the same local Employment Service Office.
Your future employer must submit a preliminary employment contract to the local Employment Service Office when applying for a seasonal work permit.
Once the work permit has been granted, your future employer must sign the employment contract with you.
Time Required for the Work Permit
The application will be processed and the permit will be issued within 7 working days.
How to Apply for the Long Stay National (D) Visa?
Now your work permit has been issued, you are ready to apply for the National Long-Term Visa for Lithuania which is issued by a Lithuanian embassy or consulate.
You will need to submit additional documents along with your application, such as your passport, work permit, proof of accommodation in Lithuania, health insurance, and financial resources to support yourself during your stay.

Processing Time
A national long-term visa will be issued to you within 15 days and will allow you to enter and stay in the country for up to 6 months.
