Employment (symbol D/AM): This is a long-stay visa for longer than three months. The long-stay visa for employment can also be issued to third-state nationals who travel to Romania for employment as seasonal workers.

Salary of a Seasonal Worker in Romania
Romania has a national minimum wage, which acts as a baseline for all workers, including seasonal ones. As of February 2024, the gross minimum wage is 2,550 Romanian Leu (RON) per month, which is roughly equivalent to 570 Euros.

Application Process for the Romania Seasonal Worker Visa
Find a Job: You must have a valid Job offer from the Romanian employer if you are applying for a Long Stay Visa (type D Visa).
Employer-initiated work authorization: Your prospective employer in Romania must first apply for a work authorization for seasonal work from the General Inspectorate for Immigration (GII).
Apply for the Employment Visa (D/AM) at the Romanian Embassy: Once you have the work authorization, you can apply for a seasonal work visa at the Romanian embassy or consulate in your home country.
You will have 60 days from the issuance of the work authorization to submit your application.
