Singapore International Pre Graduate Award (SIPGA 2024)

The Singapore International Pre Graduate Award (SIPGA) is a short-term research training program for international undergraduates and Master’s students. Students will work on a research project for two to six months. They will work with world-renowned researchers at A*STAR’s Research Entities. A 2,000 Singaporean Dollar will be given to the students to cover the living and other expenses.
This opportunity is for students who are studying bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computing and Information Science, Biomedical Science, Physical Science, or Engineering-related disciplines. The Singapore International Pre-Graduate Award is open to all nationalities. If you are interested in pursuing a fully funded PhD in Singapore then you can apply for the SINGA Scholarship 2025. Research areas are available under SIPGA into four categories.
- Biomedical Sciences (BMS)
- Physical Sciences (PS)
- Computing and Information Sciences (CIT)
- Engineering and Technology (E&T)

Eligibility Criteria
- Open to all international students.
- 3rd and 4th-year undergraduate and master’s students from overseas universities in STEM courses
- Students with Good academic records.
- Students must remain matriculated in their home university during the attachment period
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Strong interest in a research career

Coverage
Awardees are provided with a Monthly stipend of S$2,000.
How to Apply for the Singapore International Pre-Graduate Award?
Please note that your application must be submitted at least 4 months before the starting of your project. The Link to the official website and the application process is given below.
- Step 1: Please download the list of SIPGA projects and select the project you wish to apply for.
- Step 2: Prepare Supporting Documents. Copy of passport, Academic Transcripts, Updated Resume / Curriculum Vitae.
- Step 3: Submit Application. You are welcome to apply for up to three (3) projects.
- Step 4: Online Interview
- Step 5: Successful applicants will be notified within 2 months from the date of interview.
