• This is a full-time role for a Cost Engineer located in Kuwait City.
•  As a Cost Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and managing cost estimates, budgets, and financial analyses for projects. 
• You will work closely with project teams to ensure financial resources are allocated efficiently and that projects stay within budget.
•  The role involves cost planning, monitoring, and reporting to support project success and financial accountability

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or any related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a cost engineering, controller or any relevant role in engineering or construction industry..
• Proficiency in cost management software and tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Excel).
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of industry standards and financial regulations.
• Must have valid transferrable residency in Kuwait.

• Develop detailed cost estimates for projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and overheads.
• Use historical data, industry benchmarks, and project specifics to create accurate forecasts.
• Establish and maintain project budgets, including tracking expenditures and ensuring financial resources are utilized effectively.
• Monitor project costs, identifying variances between actual and budgeted expenses. Implement corrective actions as necessary to manage cost overruns.
• Prepare and present regular financial reports and cost analyses to project managers and stakeholders. Highlight any financial issues or risks and propose solutions.
• Review and analyze contracts, ensuring compliance with financial terms and conditions. Assist in negotiating cost-related contract amendments or claims.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses and value engineering to optimize project costs while maintaining quality and performance standards.
• Identify potential cost risks and develop strategies to mitigate financial impacts on the project.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date cost records and documentation. Utilize cost management software and tools to enhance data accuracy and reporting.
