Slovak Republic Government Scholarship 2024/25 (Apply Now)

The Applications are open to apply for the Slovak Republic Government Scholarship 2024/25. This Scholarship is Funded by the Ministry of Education. Slovakia is located in Central Europe. A country rich in history and natural beauty. Applicants can apply for the undergraduate, Master’s, and PhD Degree programs under this scholarship to pursue studies at the public university established in the Slovak Republic. An ideal opportunity. A total of 70 scholarships will be provided for the year 2024-25.

The Slovak Government Scholarship has defined a fixed quota of the number of scholarships to be granted to the citizens of eligible countries. Almost all academic fields are eligible. Scholarship Duration

The scholarship will be awarded for the standard duration of the degree program. The duration of the Language course is 10 months.

Financial Benefits

For Bachelor and Master Students:

  • Monthly Scholarship: 400 Euros
  • One-time Study Commencement Stipend: 100 Euros
  • One-time Study Completion Stipend: 200 Euros
  • Monthly Stipend for Public University: 80 Euros

For Ph.D. Students:

  • Monthly Scholarship: 734 Euros
  • One-time Study Commencement Stipend: 100 Euros
  • One-time Study Completion Stipend: 200 Euros
  • Monthly Stipend for Public University: 240 Euros

For Language Preparation:

  • Monthly Scholarship: 400 Euros
  • One-time Study Commencement Stipend: 100 Euros
  • Monthly Stipend for Public University: 80 Euros

Applicants cover the living expenses within this monthly stipend. The approximate expense is given below:

  • Dormitory Accommodation: 92-100 Euros/month
  • Meals: 330 Euros/month (11 Euros/day)
  • Medical Examination: 140-169 Euros
  • Interview (Entrance Application): 20-80 Euros
  • Completion of Degree Work: 33 Euros
  • Dissertation: 50 Euros
  • Translation and Authentication of Diploma: 33 Euros

Incentive Stipend for Excellent academic Performance in the first year of Study:

  • Excellent Academic Performance (GPA 1.3): 50 Euros/month
  • Ph.D. Students Passing Exams on Time: 170 Euros/year.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicant must be from one of the Eligible Countries.
  • The list of the eligible countries along with the course name and the number of scholarships are listed here
  • Age Criteria: Be between 18 and 26 for a bachelor’s and master’s degree and between 23 and 35 for a Ph.D. degree.
  • Academic Qualifications:
    • For Bachelor’s: Completed Secondary Education
    • For Master’s: Relevant Bachelor’s Degree
    • For Ph.D.: Relevant Master’s Degree
