Types of Qatar Work Visa

There are two main types of work visas in Qatar:

Standard Work Visa: This is the most common type of work visa, valid for one to three years and renewable. It is intended for full-time employees with a fixed salary.

This Visa requires a Job offer from Qatar which has been approved by the Ministry of Labor.

Salary in Qatar

According to the Labour Reform in March 2021, Qatar introduced a minimum wage of QAR 1,000, which applies to all employees across all sectors in Qatar.

The employer must additionally provide QAR 500 per month for accommodation and QAR 300 per month for food unless provided by their employer.
