Details About Croatia Seasonal Work Permit

• Applies to non-EU citizens for seasonal work in agriculture, forestry, hospitality, and tourism.
• Most seasonal workers come in summer.
• Bakers, masons, house painters, civil engineers, and truck drivers are all in high demand. Tourist jobs are also in demand during the summer season.
• Valid for a maximum of six months within a year.
• Requires staying outside Croatia for at least six months before reapplying.

When is the Labour Market Test Required?

You can get a Seasonal work permit without a labor market test if:

• A labor market Test is NOT required if a seasonal worker is coming and will work for up to 90 days.
• A labor market test might be required unless the position falls under high-demand professions.

Requirements for a Seasonal Work Permit

• An applicant must have a valid travel document.
• Have a valid contract of employment.
• Have been provided with appropriate accommodation.
• Clean Criminal Record.

Note: Some Employers usually provide accommodation to their seasonal workers, which is not deducted from their salary.

• Work and Residence Permit: Six Months
• Type D Visa: One Year

• Depending on your situation: If you work for more than 90 days, you will apply for the Croaria Long Stay D Visa. This visa is valid for one year.
